Vexed Release Valorant Roster
Posted by Uncategorized March 2, 2022 inToday, we announce the release of our Valorant roster after agreeing mutual termination and announce our departure from competitive Valorant.
After a strong start in 2021, the Roster showed strong promise, going head to head with some of the largest esports teams in the world within the VCT Closed Qualifiers. The Roster has undergone a number of changes over the last few months, with players being transferred to other teams who are now seeing success in the Spanish and German regional leagues. Unfortunately, since then the roster has been unable to produce such results in officials and given a limited roadmap for Valorant, a mutual decision has been made to release the valorant roster effective immediately and are now free to look for options within other organisations.
‘Unfortunately, the roster has not shown the results we had expected over the last 6 months, I’d like to thank everyone within the Valorant scene for their support, thank the players for representing Vexed Gaming during this period and wish them all the very best of luck moving forward, as of now, we will be taking sometime to re-evaluate our approach to a very turbulent and saturated (Valorant) scene whilst continuing to support our Pro League and Masters rosters across the Organisation. – Mark Weller, Chief Gaming Officer
‘I would like to thank all the members of the Vexed VALORANT roster for their time with us at Vexed, they really are some amazing individuals both in and out of the server. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with and I am looking forward to seeing them continue to develop and push on to achieve their goals. From myself and the rest of the team at Vexed we wish them the very best of luck in their future endeavors’. – Dan O’Hare, Head of Esports and Talent.
‘I am far from disappointed with my time in Vexed, I take great pride in observing the tremendous growth in all my teammates over the past 8 months. Although today the Valorant roster mutually separates itself from its home, I have every confidence they will be able to hit the ground running and reach the level of success they desire as we come up to the start of next season and even beyond.’ – Henry ‘kingHaS’ Simmons, Valorant Coach/Manager
