Coronavirus (COVID-19) Planning Decision.

Following a great deal of consideration and an in-depth review of the latest news and advice on the Coronavirus pandemic, Vexed Gaming has decided that it will not participate at this year’s Copenhagen Games.

Our player wellbeing is of paramount importance to us here at Vexed Gaming and whilst we have the utmost faith in the organisers of Copenhagen games, escalating measures to control the virus spread across Europe has made us rethink our overall travel plans for the near future.I’m addition to the Copenhagen Games, Vexed will not participate in and other live larger scale events, appearances or tournaments that are open to public access in the foreseeable future and will take closed studio events into consideration. As advised. as the EU and the British Government is evolving, we will modify our stance as prevailing information suggests it is safe to do so.

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused large disruptions to our tournament schedule this quarter and is affecting the wider esports community with events being canceled everywhere and at short notice, our players health and welfare is second to none here at Vexed Gaming and although this has been a difficult decision to come to terms with, I feel we have made the right call here and urge other Organisations to follow suite and take precautions and preventative measure’s. – Mark Weller, CGO at Vexed Gaming

We appreciate that this is a blow to our fans across the world and we will aim to increase participation in online events where possible and LAN events when possible.

We would like to wish the organisers of the Copenhagen Games the very best of luck on these very trying time’s and we look forward to participating again next year.
